We can each recall those flashbulb moments that feel as if we’re falling through the air, our bodies freezing for a split second in perfect stillness: a hot-pink marking on black-and-white timeline. Memory approaches those moments from the outside, but to re-enter those fossilized feelings and recover them, like souvenirs made of crystallized memories, is a magic only realized by our senses.

Last summer, LUCIE overcame her fear of water, heights and speed while plunging down a huge waterslide in Spain. Back in Berlin, she accessed those fossilized feelings in the studio with Edgar, where together they wrote this slippery dance tune, just in time to kill the winter blues. This is the third single Edgar Alvis and LUCIE will release together, after LUCIE featured on Edgar Alvis’ “On My Own” in 2022 and Edgar featured on LUCIE'S “Isolation” in 2023.
