Artist Bio
Lucie is a singer, songwriter, music producer and performance artist from Berlin. Growing up between Berlin’s middle-class suburbs and central-city techno parties, Lucie’s teenage years were spent spanning the worlds of classical music, jazz and the electronic music scene. In her songwriting, Lucie plays with vulnerability, irony and exaggeration to liberate herself from social anxiety, self-doubt and patriarchal norms. Strong rhythmic hooks in a dark universe of synths and experimental production complement Lucie's etherial vocals, which blend the earnestness of Dido with the irony of Lana del Rey. Lucie's live show is a dance-driven electronic set played with her live-band "Lucie & The Robot”.
